Flier to advertise the Wallace Correspondence Project
We have produced an A5 flier to advertise the Wallace Correspondence Project at conferences and other events - please see below. It will soon be used at the British Tarantula Society's Annual Exhibition on Sunday 20th May 2018, which George will be attending to promote the SeaTrek Sailing Adventures cruises he leads to raise funds for the project.
Who's handwriting is this?
UPDATE 16 May 2018: A very experienced palaeographer has determined that the handwritting of the 'Kington Essay' is not Wallace's. We are left with a mystery – who was the “A. Wallace” who wrote it? Was A. R. Wallace a member of the Kington Mechanics’ Institute and was there anyone else called A. Wallace who was also a member?

On Wednesday 18th April 2018, the WCP team began work in the project's splendid new office in Buckhust Hill, Essex (address HERE). The office is on two levels, with three workspaces on the first floor and another, plus a tiny kitchen and toilet, on the second floor. We have now purchased nearly all the equipment we need, ranging from computers, to chairs, to a small fridge, microwave, kettle, pencils and paperclips.
